Who processes the data

What data we collect

Through the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, company name if you give it, and what you write about the project.

Through the careers form: your name, phone number, email address, the role you apply for, the link you provide and the message you write.

Automatically, if you consent to analytics: pages visited, approximate location at city level, and the type of device. This data is aggregated and does not identify you.

Why we process it and on what basis

To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote. The basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

To run a recruitment process, where you apply for a role. The basis is the steps taken at your request.

To measure the site and our campaigns, where you have consented. The basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share the data with

With our hosting provider, which stores the site and the messages, under a data processing agreement.

With Google, Meta and TikTok, only if you consent to analytics or marketing cookies, and only in aggregated form.

We do not sell data and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and quotes: three years from the last contact, so we know the history if you come back.

Applications: twelve months from receipt, then they are deleted. If you want them removed sooner, write to us and we will do it.

Your cookie choice: twelve months.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction, its deletion, restriction of processing, or a copy in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Write to contact@data-byte.ro and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), at dataprotection.ro.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Messages are stored on servers in the European Union and access is limited to the people who need it in order to reply to you.
