Can employees clock in from home?
Not if you do not want that. Clocking in can be limited to an area around the work site, and attempts from outside it are visible.
Is it legal to track employees' location?
The position is recorded only at the moment of clocking in, not continuously, and the employee is informed. That is how GDPR is respected; we also give you the wording for the notice.
Does it connect to payroll?
Yes, by export or through an API, depending on what you use.
